Gather with community leaders, executives, and philanthropists at this exclusive networking event and learn more about the mission of Northwest Association for Blind Athletes.

 

Raise the Bar, Raise the Impact

At Raise the Bar, you’ll not only have the chance to network with over 250+ community leaders and like-minded philanthropists, but you’ll also hear powerful, inspiring stories from NWABA athletes about how these programs have changed their lives. From newfound independence to breaking through physical and mental barriers, their stories will remind you of the incredible potential unlocked when everyone is given the opportunity. When you attend Raise the Bar, you’re supporting an organization that is creating access and opportunities for athletes who face unique challenges. By raising a glass, you’re helping to break down the barriers that prevent individuals from participating in sports and physical activities. NWABA provides the equipment, resources, and coaching that empower people of all ages to compete, grow, and thrive.

  • Delicious Drinks & Appetizers: Enjoy a fun and casual atmosphere with a bar and tasty bites as you mix and mingle with others who are passionate about making a difference.

 

Tickets are $25 to attend, and we kindly ask you to RSVP to reserve your spot. In addition, we invite you to consider a gift of $150 to help provide life-changing opportunities for children, youth, and adults who are blind or visually impaired in our community.

Everyone deserves an opportunity to experience sports and physical activities.

For those who are blind or visually impaired, these opportunities can be few and far between. Across the United States, most children and youth with visual impairments have never participated in sports, ridden a bike, or even been involved in their school’s PE class. NWABA is changing that by providing transformative athletic experiences and fostering inclusion through sports.

From skiing and snowboarding and track to adaptive tandem biking and kayaking, NWABA opens the door to limitless possibilities.
